Bela Fleck to Release Christmas CD

Deck the Halls with Béla Fleck & the Flecktones this fall when the band releases Christmas CD Jingle All The Way. Due in stores Sept. 30, the recording is the Flecktones’ first holiday record in their 20-year career.
“We always imagined we would do a holiday album,” says Fleck, a 10-time Grammy winner. “When the Flecktones first got together, we worked out a Christmas medley – it was really fun. People loved it, and we continued to play it every year.”
Produced by Fleck, the record features guest Elves Andy Statman & Tuvan Throat Singers on renditions of songs ranging from Bach to “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.” Tributes To Joni Mitchell and Vince Guaraldi are also included.
