It’s not exactly traditional. And that’s exactly what Jimmy Buffett is all about.
Buffett’s 1996 Christmas release of “Christmas Island” features the flavors of the islands. On “Christmas Island” or “Mele Kalikimaka” this flavor works. For “Jingle Bells”, it doesn’t. And Santa’s reputation in “Ho Ho HO and a Bottle of Rhum” takes a hit. Bah Humbug.
